Mama, I want sunray pleats!

Sunray pleated skirts are gorgeous because they not only flow and dance with your every move, they are also made in a way that pleats nowadays are rarely made in. Ever noticed how 'modern' pleats don't seem to be as sturdy as a good sunray pleated skirt from our mamas' heyday? The trick is a special ironing technique in our mamas' time that guarantees long-lasting pleats that will withstand wash after wash after wash.

We found a basic black sunray pleated skirt on ebay, which costs about £17 (RM88) including shipping.

Of course, ahem, there's a 'friendlier' alternative for you readers. Here's your chance to have a basic sunray pleated skirt that every vintage lover should have, and at a very purse-friendly price! ;-)
